It all began with an idea from two moms…create a clothing closet for kids in need using the clothing their kids had outgrown.
Over 23 years, OASIS Opportunites has grown from that 1 clothing closet to 6 unique programs!

These programs provide PreK-12th grade students in Hillsborough County with equal access to clothing, hygiene, and other essentials they need to build their self-confidence, fit in with their peers, and attend school every day.
From one clothing closet at one school, OASIS has grown to serve over 15,000 students with 6 programs. And we are still growing!

Back2Basics School Uniforms
Before school starts, social workers at Title I schools receive two uniform outfits, socks, and underwear for 30 students.
Four Clothing
Sites
Sites where school social workers shop for clothing and hygiene items for students.
Emergency Food Assistance
Helping families in need of emergency food assistance and without other community or school food resources.
Online Order & Delivery Program
Social Workers can also submit orders on website to be delivered to the student’s school.
Summer Hygiene Bags
Summer school students across HCPS receive hygiene bags with items to keep them clean and healthy.
